This wine iss drinking exceptionally. This is Bordeaux, 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet from the Blaye Cotes de Bordeaux on the right bank. The core flavor is big velvety cherry infused with plums. There is complex spice and forest at the finish. Excellent now, it will continue to grow and show for at least another 7 years. This is a steal , quality to price.

  • Château Gontier, located on the Gironde estuary, is one of the best clay and limestone soils of the Premières Côtes de Blaye.
  • It benefits from an exceptional exposure. The vineyard is fully implemented on a hillside overlooking the largest canal in Europe.
  • Its wines, of technical excellence, are produced in a vat completely renovated. They are a harmonious blend between two varieties, "Merlot" which brings fruity aromas, ,suppleness and softness, and "Cabernet Sauvignon" which gives the wine body, bouquet and long aging potential.
  • The wines of Château Gontier are mainly sold in France, now Texas, will soon be exported to an importantlong-term contract, established through the very old and very large Friendship between the family Deloche and the Professor Carl Collins (Dallas), as well as because of the historical dating from the time of the Republic of Texas Franco-American Friendship.
